FunkDaddy Ken on drums, percussion & vocals After beginning his professional career at the tender age of 13, Ken attended The University of Iowa School of Music, honing his skills as a drummer/percussionist and composer/arranger. Ken has spent his adult life on and off the road in a variety of bands, including The Federal Reserve ('71 - '73), Cabala ('76 - '80), Express ('81 - '83), City Soul Band ('83 - '85), The Invisible Band and Hawk Rap ('85 - '87), Jasmine ('89 - '03) and as a Founder of FunkDaddies. His performance experiences have ranged from Symphony Orchestras to Salsa, Fusion Jazz to Funk, Be-Bop to the Blues, Rock to Reggae and just about every other style of music. Ken's dynamic style has been strongly influenced by such artists as David Garibaldi, Dave Weckl, Billy Cobham, Buddy Rich, Harvey Mason, Airto Moreira and Alex Acuna.
